concerts and braces

so i've been pretty excited for a while that the plain white t's are coming to a city that's a few hours away from me pretty soon. and i had discussed it briefly with my parents, but they hadn't said yes or no. so i asked again today and go an earful about "too far" and "drive there, concert, and drive back all in one day?" which made me mad so i brought up a harry and the potters concert the day before that, which is about a half hour away, and then my dad started talking about it being a "hassle." really? i mean come on, it's only a half hour away! and i could even get a ride if i needed to! so i'm quite angry at the moment. i hate not being able to drive. i mean, i can drive, but i don't have my liscense, just my permit. so my parents would have to be in the car anyway.

i've had braces for 2 years now, and i went to the orthodontist yesterday, and she said i can get them off on august 5th!!! if youv'e ever had braces, you know how happy i am. i can actually eat corn on the cob and apples that aren't all sliced up! :D
